Shot summary:
A stroke disrupts the communication between the brain and the body. As a result, the affected parts of the body no longer receive the signals needed to move. One of the primary goals of rehabilitation is to restore motor function through physiotherapy and therapeutic movement. Leonid's drawings reflect the progress of this journey: as his fine motor skills recover, his compositions become increasingly intricate, revealing greater precision, richer graphic detail, and renewed control of the hand.
