This painting returned to the easel many times, evolving with each encounter. It began as a study from life, but gradually transformed into a symbolic space where reality and imagination meet. Flowers, light, and subtle traces of wings emerged naturally, revealing new layers of meaning.
There may be a quiet dialogue with Rembrandt—not through imitation, but through admiration. If so, it is a dialogue seen through my own visual language, where light speaks of hope rather than drama.
The woman is not simply a figure. She is a presence—an embodiment of femininity, tenderness, sensuality, and quiet inner strength. Her power lies not in dominance, but in her ability to inspire, nurture, and give form to new possibilities.
For me, this painting is about the quiet power of love and the kind of inspiration that allows beauty, dreams, and life itself to take form.
