БИОГРАФИЯ ХУДОЖНИКА
Dan-Martin Dragon and Viktoria Dragon are Finland-based artists and creative collaborators living and working in Inkoo. United by a shared passion for craftsmanship, restoration, and artistic expression, they have developed a unique collaborative practice that brings together fine art, design, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
At the heart of their work is Viktoria Dragon’s mixed media painting, exploring themes of hope, renewal, memory, inner balance, and the transformative power of nature. Combining acrylic, oil, ink, texture pastes, and collage, she creates richly layered symbolic compositions that invite contemplation and emotional connection.
Alongside her paintings, the duo creates one-of-a-kind collectible artworks by transforming vintage record players into functional art objects. Dan-Martin carefully restores each turntable, preserving its mechanical integrity and historical character, while Viktoria hand-paints every cabinet in her signature mixed media style. Together, they merge restoration, painting, music, and design into unique pieces where craftsmanship and artistic vision become inseparable.
Their works have been presented in international exhibitions and artistic projects, including Konstrundan, while Viktoria’s paintings have received international recognition through Golden Talent London 2024 (Second Prize) and Golden Global Talent 2025 (Third Prize). Today, their collaborative practice continues to explore how forgotten objects can become contemporary works of art while preserving the stories they carry.
ТВОРЧЕСКОЕ ЗАЯВЛЕНИЕ
Every object carries a memory.
Our artistic practice begins with the belief that restoration is more than preservation - it is transformation. We are fascinated by the stories embedded within vintage objects and by their ability to connect generations through craftsmanship, music, and emotion. Rather than simply repairing what has been forgotten, we give it a new artistic life.
Our collaboration unites two complementary disciplines. Dan-Martin restores the mechanical soul of each vintage record player, respecting its history and original engineering, while Viktoria transforms its exterior into a unique mixed media artwork through painting, texture, and symbolic imagery. Together, restoration and artistic creation become a single creative process.
Alongside our functional art objects, Viktoria’s paintings continue the same exploration of hope, renewal, memory, and inner balance. Flowers, natural forms, layered textures, and collage become symbols of resilience and transformation. In her Paper Garden series, newspaper pages - often associated with fleeting information and uncertainty - are transformed into blooming flowers, suggesting that beauty and hope can emerge even from moments of chaos.
Our work exists at the meeting point of sustainability, craftsmanship, and contemporary art. By preserving original materials while introducing new artistic narratives, we create pieces that honor the past without remaining trapped in it. Each restored object becomes both a functional design piece and a work of art with its own identity.
Ultimately, our practice is about giving objects - and the memories they carry - a second life. We believe that transformation is one of art’s greatest powers: to preserve what matters, to reimagine what is possible, and to remind us that every ending can become the beginning of a new story.
“We don’t just restore objects—we transform memories into art.”

The creative partnership of Dan-Martin Dragon and Viktoria Dragon demonstrates how restoration can become a powerful artistic statement. By bringing vintage record players back to life, they preserve not only the objects themselves but also the memories, music, and stories they carry, combining technical craftsmanship with Viktoria’s distinctive artistic vision.
Within the context of AWAKENING, their works become symbols of renewal. The past finds a new voice, while forgotten objects are transformed into unique collectible artworks that celebrate memory, craftsmanship, and new beginnings.
