The Loop

The painting The Loop is part of a master's thesis series exploring the relationship between the individual and the institution. While observing my work environment, my gaze was caught by a computer cord on the desk, the shape of which formed a loop. Realizing that this 'loop' symbolically marks the 'inside' and the 'outside'—the boundary between the institution, the municipal administration, as a closed system, and the world surrounding it—I decided to use it as an essential equivalent (counterpart) for my research, which became the inspiration for painting this piece. This led me to reflect on the impact of colors and their symbolic meanings in daily life.
